Damon Oriente Ltd. specializes in design and planning projects at residential, public space and community scales. Our project history includes residential and public sector projects in British Columbia and the Yukon, and commercial and multi-family projects in the lower mainland.

We have been favoured with many repeat clients, designing outdoor spaces for new  residences or new development projects. Several clients who develop multifamily residential projects have retained us to do design for their own residences. While many of our residential projects are of considerable scale and complexity, we also undertake projects with modest budgets; we always try to deliver good value to our clients, and believe that good design does not have to mean extravagance.

In general, we look at landscape from a spatial and architectural perspective, rather than taking a decorative or horticultural approach. Addressing the pragmatic aspects of a project, such as circulation and grading, are areas we consider essential for all projects.

We do working drawings, landscape planning, mapping and graphic design with a computer, but many presentation drawings and study sketches are done by hand, with pen and pencil.
